2005 Romsey Creek Chardonnay

Medium oak

BRONZE MEDAL - Macedon Ranges Exhibition 2007 & 08

BRONZE MEDAL Daylesford Wine Show 2007 & 2008

100% Chardonnay grapes in this wine were grown on the red volcanic soils of Romsey, Central Victoria. The wine was made in old and new (25%), French oak barrels and kept on lees for nearly 12 months before bottling. It has become a complex, crisp Macedon Ranges style table wine.

Colour:  Pale straw.

Bouquet:  Melon, citrus

Palate:  Fruitiness balanced by moderate oak, good acidity.  The wine has a crisp, long dry finish.

Food:  Serve cool as an aperitif or with food. A great accompaniment with CREAMY PASTA or ROAST CHICKEN
