2008 Gewürztraminer

Silver Medal – Daylesford Wine Show 2008 &
Bronze – Macedon Ranges Wine Exhibition 2008

 

100% Gewürztraminer grapes grown at Romsey, Central Victoria, are used in this wine. Low cropped fruit with full flavours and acidity were hand harvested.

The wine was cold fermented in stainless steel and carefully nurtured to create a spicy, aromatic classic style table wine.  

Fermented dry.

Colour: Pale straw.

Bouquet: Aromatic, floral

Palate: Turkish delight (lychees, musk, rosewater). The wine has a crisp, long dry finish.

Food:  Serve cool as an aperitif or with food. Suggestion: A great accompaniment with barbequed tuna and spicy Asian dishes.
