Made from 100% Chardonnay grapes grown on the red volcanic soils at Romsey, Victoria, this MACEDON is made by the traditional “Champagne method” and matured on its lees for over 3 years.
Colour: Pale straw.
Bouquet: Yeasty, fruity
Palate: Fresh stone-fruit, grape-fruity style and long dry finish.
Food: Serve cold as an aperitif and with food. A great accompaniment with oysters and other sea food.
Citrus and fresh.
A very fine but clear fruit profile in a lemon, nectarine and grapefruit range. A long, delicately lingering dry finish.
First disgorging July 2009. 3 years on lees, cork, 12% Alc.
